Features

Rotary evaporator is an evaporation instrument in the laboratory. It consists of a motor, a distillation bottle, a heating pot, a condenser tube and other parts.

FAQ

1.What is the mechanism of manual lifting and auxiliary lifting of manual rotary evaporator?
The manual lifting part is a mechanical constant force lifting mode, which is safe, reliable, and low failure; the auxiliary lifting part is a stepless mechanical positioning adjustment.
2.Is it possible for a small rotary evaporator with a 5L evaporating flask?
It is not recommended to use this way, there is a risk. The excessive load of the glass shaft will cause the bearing parts to wear and reduce the life, which will affect the sealing performance. In severe cases, the shaft tube may be broken.
3.REV100-Pro can only rotate at a maximum of 280rpm when the forward and reverse rotation is set, and only 200rpm for one-way rotation. Why?
One-way rotation can reach 280rpm, no problem. To ensure safety, the maximum speed is limited to 200rpm.
4.Is it better to put the rotary steaming system in a fumehood?
   It is better to put the rotary steaming system in a fume hood, and the taste can be discharged directly outside.
5.Is magnetic inspection required for air transportation?
There is a lifting motor, which requires magnetic inspection.
6.How to connect the rotary steaming and vacuum controller, and what is the function of the vacuum pump?
The vacuum controller is connected between the rotary steamer and the vacuum pump, in series. When using a rotary evaporation evaporator, the vacuum degree is not appropriate, and the reagents will suddenly boil and bump. By using a vacuum controller, in series with the rotary evaporation, the internal vacuum of the rotary evaporation can be accurately controlled, especially for the concentration of volatile reagents, which can achieve the maximum The most ideal recovery rate. It is also widely used in the vacuum distillation of organic reagents, the gradual control of the vacuum degree, and the gradual extraction of solvents.
